Paphiopedilum Wossner Sphinx (sanderianum x Julius)

Description

Wow.  50% sanderianum, 25% lowii, 25% rothschildianum.  These are going to be one of the most spectacular new multi-floral Paph crosses to be offered in a long time.  We are yet to see the flowers on these.  However, we are expecting something along the lines of the old Screaming Eagle cross the Orchid Zone made decades ago.  Julius is one of the most spectacular and consistently popular show-stopping multi-floral Paph crosses with huge, dark flowers.  Adding sanderianum to the wide petals of the lowii, the wide, dark colors coming from the rothschildianum should create an unforgettable show-stopping Paph.  We are only releasing two (20 Of these.  They are NBS to BS.
