Paphiopedilum Jupiter

Description

Paph. Jupiter is a cross between rothschildianum and hookerae.  The darker-colored v. volonteanum was used for this cross, and it shows in the spectacular flowers!  Our mother plant bloomed on a three (3) foot tall flower spike and produced two (2) huge dark-colored flowers at the top of the spike! The plants do not get bigger than ~10 inches across!  These were an unexpected surprise!
